趁著July 4th 連假, 我們南下開車到一個快到Santa Babara 的可愛小鎮–> Solvang…
這次完全沒準備, 帶著iPad 還有一本介紹Solvang 的雜誌, 到了hotel 才開始找要做什麼….

Took the chance of July 4th weekend, we drove down to Solvang, a cute town close to Santa Babara. We didn’t have any plan this time, just brought my ipad and a magazine with Solvang.
and started to decide what we were going to do when we arrived hotel…

反正第一天到了也已經是傍晚了, 乾脆租台＂協力車” (不知如何稱呼您, 應該是吧?)
It was already evening when we arrived, anyway,..maybe just rent a surrey cycle.

然後逛逛晚餐後就回hotel 趕＂醉後決定愛上你”的進度了(出來玩仍不忘偶像劇..)
Even in vacation, we still didnt forget to follow the status of taiwanese drama!

第二天一早睡得飽飽的, 去看看附近的迷你馬場, 好可愛好小的馬, 跟狗差不多大,..也有在賣, 一隻約賣三千美元,..不過買他們要做什麼呢??
On the second day, after a nice sleep, we went to the mini horse ranch. The horses were really so tiny, like dog size. They also sell them, around $3000 each, but why people bought them for?

接著旁邊還有駝鳥園, 駝鳥長得還真是不大好客呀! 別靠太近, 小心被咬到,..這兒也有賣駝鳥蛋, 是個適合全家大小一起來的地方…
There’s another Ostrich ranch. They don’t look that friendly! Be careful, don’t be too close to them, they might bite you….. They also sell Ostrich egg. It’s a family friendly place.

回去downtown 吃個午餐, 逛逛這個小鎮, 還真是像童話般的建築,..
Went back to downtown for lunch, and hang out at this fairy tale like town.

不小心又被啥給吸引了….
I got distracted to something..

原來是繽紛可愛的巧克力呀! 馬上有人在掏錢買了!
Chocolate! Somebody already hurry to pay!

因為被巧克力分心, 害我差點忘了此行的重點,…..
It’s all chocolate’s fault! It distracted me, and made me almost forget what’s the purpose of this trip!

這裡有多家Wine testing 可以選擇, 我們Hotel 是holiday inn, 就在Solvang downtown. 喝完可以走路回去, 不用擔心條伯伯…..
There are many wine testing place you can choose here. Our hotel is holiday inn, right in the downtown of Solvang. We can just walk back to the hotel if we were drunk, no need to worry cops.

友人生性害羞, 不願入鏡 (My frd was so shy, she didn’t want to be shown in public)

若是下次有週修三日或是要去LA 時, 可以順道在這個可愛, 步調緩慢的小鎮歇歇…
If next time you have long weekend, or if you are on the way down to LA, it’s a good place to pass by…
